I have an idea, but would like more details, links/pics. I think both don't come with covers such as oilpan, timing - would like to learn more details..

I THINK he means "what's a shortblock" and "what's a longblock" but then he confused me with the "for b series pics/links" etc stuff.. so now I dunno if he wants to know the diff between a B16 and B18 shortblock or what

 

my bad... lets make this simple, differences between longblock and shortblock..

 

longblock = engine (head + block)
shortblock = block only

Hybrid ctr - remembers asking the exact same question

 

when they say complete block, is that same as longblock? in other words, stuff like oilpan, distributor, covers - is that included in longblock

 

shortblock= Oil pan to deck, with internals, depending on the seller, maybe sensers
longblock=valve cover the oil pan, all internals, depending on the seller, maybe sensors..
