Launch Control Button... where to put it.
Hey guys, my Hondata S200 is getting the final touches of the install tomorrow and I have to decide where I want to put the launch control button.
I currently have a V-AFC mounted where my ashtray once was, but the V-AFC is no longer needed and is being removed. I was thinking of mounting a peice of Carbon Fiber (cut to shape from a buddies broken hood) across where the ashtray was as a custom peice and mount the button there. Any other ideas???
I think the CF peice in the center console would look pretty good too!

Dave, Launch control is basically a secondary revv limit that is controlled by a button, so you press the button and the limiter is moved to a position in ideal launch range (user defined). The program is set to revert back to the normal rev limit at a certain vehicle speed (user defined). Its pretty much to get consistent launches and I guess some people like it, I prefer having direct control over gas pedal modulation...you just floor the gas and it bounces off a lower revv limit until it reaches a certain speed where you start going normal.
This can be done with both Hondata and Uberdata.

Hondata you can put it almost anywhere you want to.
Uberdata has been known to work really well with using the A/C switch (you must have taken out your A/C of course). But some people have had success with custom buttoms like the Hondata one.
