Default JUN3 Setup

Can I run Jun3's without the Jun ECU? Of course, I would use a vafc or similar product in it's absence.

You can, but you wont make as much power. You could purchase an V-AFC and an Apex ITC and tune with that, those costs would total about 500$ uninstalled. You could also send JUN YOUR ECU and pay about 500$ for the proper ECU.

The ecu from JUn weather its new or yours, is gonna cost upwards of around 1300.00 or more. If your running obd II then they bang you for 500 just for the conversion harness. You can still make good power with the stock ITR ecu

and another thing, judging from your comment badboygsr, am I to assume that Jun3's can be dropped in and left untuned and still make good power? I plan to get a apexi powerfc in the long run, but need something to keep me going for awhile.

Of course you can, and if you get a Power FC, and then you know what you are doing and dyno tune it. I am sure you can make more power than with the JUN ECU.

You need cam gears and adj. fuel press regulator and some DYNO time. You cant expect to just drop them in and make power.

Thats Funny, ITR 1236 used the JUN ECU and hit 182WHP without tuning, 0 zilch nada nothing. If you use your own ECU 1999 or down it will cost you about 450$, how do I know, I just bought mine.
