The Aussie spec ITR's are very close to of what the JDM is. lol.. almost!
We are missing out on...
Final Drive
16inch Rims
4-1 Extractors
Front end
red/yellow stitching on the shift boot....
thats all i can think of now other than the ECU.. different maps due to extractors and RON.
But our new DC5 is shocking! Don't know what we are missing out that we can't visually see.

The Australian ITR (now the old version), does have the following -
* Recaros (refer to photo)
* 4.785 FD
* Momo Steering Wheel (refer to photo)
* Yellow needles on Gauges
* Higher Compression 11.1
* RHD (obviously)

The new (just released last week) Australian ITR....which seems to be a rebadged RS-X 'Type S'
, misses out on the following vs the new JDM ITR-
* 162kW engine (147kW)
* 17" wheels (although all the brochures show the JDM wheels, but with a little note stating the fact they are Japanese spec)
* Brembo Brakes
* Suspension (does not seem to sit any lower than standard Integra, where as the out going model did)
The lower power output; is due to Australia's lesser fuel quality. Although 98 RON fuel is now widely available throughout most cities....so they should have only detuned the engine slightly (say to 155kW). The wheels and brakes, are apparently down to $$$ savings....but they shouldn't advertise the new ITR with the JDM wheels; as it looks way better and misleads people (until they see the car 'in the flesh').
Disappointed Mr.

My info also has 4th and 5th gears being longer on the JDM integra. This is to compensate for the shorter FD. I don't have my notes here at work to show what they are.
All ITRs get folding mirrors...only the Integra and ITRx gets the power folding mirrors

Ben - Yes that is what I meant Thanks.
PS I ran into a brick wall on the relay setup I havent gotten any answer from the electronics supplier as to which would work. IM me let me know if you had any other luck with them.

96spec's have a 4x114.3 stud pattern with 15" wheels, no stereo and hence a "stereo blocker".
JDMs also don't have the little things on the headlining above the rear windows to hang your dry cleaning on or a boot (trunk or what ever you call it!) light.
