front ends have increased in price... just last year HID front ends were about 2 grand... now they are 2300. I got my full HID front end for 1600. Its so much cheaper if you buy ur front end piece by piece.... trust me on that one.

From what I know.. there are some body shops that can do JDM front ends with the USDM radiator support.

Why bother? The parts are cheap enough to where it shouldn't matter, I mean seriously how much is a JDM radiator support in comparison to how big a pain in the *** it would be to try and ghetto rig the swap without it ?

Is this true? I have my HID on a non-HID radiator support and it seems fine to me. Can anyone confirm the radiator supports of HID and non-HID are different? What is the difference? Thanks!

I copied the list from a post from a long time ago. I cannot confirm. I have seen both but never compared the supports.

they are the same, The HID ballast is located on the back of the headlight, it has nothing to do with the Radiator suppport.

<--- Jason who is too poor or cheap to buy they HID kit. I have have seen quite a few HID JMD front ends and they have, according to my eye they exact same radiator support.

Are you trying to piece together a kit? It best if you order the whole kit. Shipped to your body shop. I recommend RandDmotorsports

Although I did not get some of the parts from the above parts list like .
i.e hood weather stripping, but then again ordered the kit minus hood because I had a carbon hood thrown in instead..

I am very happy with my front end, but the hood SUCKS BALLZ
Buyer beware DO NOT buy fiber images carbon hood!!! I hate mine. But, I was on a budget, because a small fender bender was not worth the money I spent to change the whole front end.

Any advice on good ventors to find these pieces individually?

A $1600 HID front sounds very appealing. Also, can anyone provide a more complete list of parts?

TIA.

The radiator support is the same for all of the fronts. It's only the headlight that is different. To fit it in my car I had to bend some of the a/c lines to get the ballasts to clear. I'm not sure about the modifications needed for the older model DC2's.

HID Radiator support is different from the non-HID radiator support.

The hid support has extra bracket (1 on each side, on the radiator support) under the headlight assembly to support the weight of the assembly (possibly revised for the added weight of the ballasts). This I know as FACT not hearsay.

I believe it is for teh older model dc2s that you have to adjust the ac lines.

I heard that 96 specs won't clear ballast because of the ABS relays...not sure though

94-97 Integras have a different (bigger) ABS unit than the 98+... some people (I know canuckmx6 did) have modified the location of the ABS unit by unbolting it and pushing it back a little bit, and then bolting it back down.
