I just bought this ITR intake manifold and when I opened the box I noticed that it looked a little banged up. I'm considering sending it back but want the trusted opinions of my fellow honda-techers. Should I just get these nicks ground down and smoothed out or should I send it back to the guy and get another. Also in the thrid picture it looks like that little pipe is bent down. Not sure if its meant to be that way or not. Thanks Tim

I believe the "bent" pipe is supposed to be that way. Even if it's not, it's not really a huge deal. The chips and scrapes you pictured shouldn't affect the way the manifold works unless they cause a leak to the atmosphere when the manifold is installed. It looks okay to me though.

Thanks for the reply. I guess the only way to know if it leaks is to put it on......Thanks again

Cool. Thanks again. Do you think I should file those down a bit with a dremel or a fine file?
