just wondering how everyone feels about ITB's, the differences between brands, if they're easy/hard to install, and what kind of power gains your looking at on a B18C5, also post pics if you got them.
They don't make power unless you are running the right combination of supporting mods, namely high comp pistons, a race header, crazy cams, and a great tune.
Sure ITB's can be had for minimal $$$$... but to make them work you will spend waaayyy more.
Edit: Oh and prepare for sticky butterflys with most mfg's.

The only real advantage of using ITB's is going to be increased throttle response on a race track. Even with pistons, cams, ect. most only gain about +10-15whp after adding ITB's. But they sound really cool and it's cool to be able to say you have ITB's b/c they aren't very common. And like stated above, lots of headaches from dumb little things.

I heard TWM itb's are bad for sticking, but what about toda, huge price tag, and it's toda, so I'm guessing they know what they're doing. I don't think i've ever seen them in person, so i really don't know all that much about them. does anyone make them with a spot for nitrous? i would seriously consider them if so.
