Intercooler fitting?
Should I just pull the bumper off and start hacking?
Or is there a proper "how to" that I didn't see on h-t somewhere?
I wouldn't mind cutting out that black grill thingy - it looks stupid.
But if I could mount the IC nice and stealthy, that'd be cool too.....
Thoughts, links, etc?
I didn't post in the boost forum b/c it's not model specific.....

what kind of intercooler do u have?? a drag spearco?
its just basic measuring and eyeing.
if its a drag heres how it would look..sorry its dark, but it mounts to the upper bumper support bar..just make sure its centered.

Search the Integra forum while you're at it...there are a lot of turbo LS's and GSR's out there that might give you some tips as well.
I have a johnnyracecar/tyrus IC didnt even have to take one piece of my bumper/grill.

its not an ITR but sure as hell can keep up with 'em

Most people remove that in a JDM conversion so I don't know what's the fuss about it.

Just try and mount the IC (depending on size obviously) as far back on the support as possible. With a 94-97 front you should be able to fit it on with minimal trimming if any if its mounted as far back as possible. As for the 98+ front, most people tend to cut the black grille out. On mine, it looks like Im going to have to.
Yeah make sure you mount it as far back as you can, you might also want to play with the A/c condensor lines. Most people dremel out the grill/plastic and also the plastic piece on bottom, but you dont have to do that unless you intercooler is fairly tall.
