the ITR(rsx in the states) type r makes 220 hp (or isthat ps) with a 6-spd tranny. it comes with a better suspension, is lighter and 17" light weight wheels that the rsx-s doesnt have.
you people kill me. its still called the Integra Type-R... sure the RSX is the name of the DC5 in the states, but since a DC5-R does not exist here, as I said. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN RSX-R. You show me one official document wearing that moniker and i'll mail you a penny.

turboR: its a slight descrepancy.
we all know what we are talking about though.
anyhow, bbasso, very good! you can cut and paste!
hehe...
anyhow the detuned ITR that may come over here i do not think is a nice contender for the rest of the cars coming out.
17" rims, 205 hp, the dc2r will walk all over it.

In case this is not applicable to the thread starter, there are many posts in this forum that say 'check out this mugen kit on the rsx-r' and of the likes.... Need I make my point any clearer??

Why am I soo uptight? Well, go to the integra forum, and find someones post with their pride and joy Integra Type R and commend them on what a fine GSR-R they have, and I'm sure you'll annoy a few people there too.
And before you jump on my back (which, in a forum you are more than welcome to do) remember, its a matter of thinking about what you are posting, not stop posting all together.
As I posted once in the RSX Forum
RSX - A stupid marketing strategy by Acura to have all the cars names similar, and to make it sound like some New car From "Acura"
PS - Pet peeve - Changed Post title - There isnt an RSX-R and even if the DC5R comes here I will call it an Integra Just like I do with the RSX now.

No its not a _slight_ descrepancy. I wish to commend turboR for sticking up for the INTEGRA Type R owners. It annoys the **** out of me to see people calling an Integra Type R an RSX-R. That implies that my car is an RSX-R. I would NEVER want that to be the case.

Are the Trani and motor swapable into the USDM integra?
Motor is mounted backwards (Intake towards the front) and the engine spins clockwise.

I've heard a LOT more about a CTR then any sort of DC5-R. It sort of makes sense that they would bring CTR and not DC5-R, for what the RSX-S costs, the price of an RSX-R if it ever existed would put it the same price range as some very fast cars. CTR on the other hand could fall at about the same price as an rsx-s. if not a little less.
I think it's "tizzite yo".
So the DC5-R(Integra or RSX?) is confirmed by Honda for '03? Forget what the magazines say, I would rather hear it from the horse's mouth!
