I need to order championship white paint from a place local here. I looked and searched championship white paint code finds nothing in post bodies so sorry. But I looked in the faq and it said the code was NH-0. They are telling me that I need more numbers or letters in it fir them to find it. Any help or anywhere cheap online sells paint for Honda/Acura?
NH-0. If they tell you different they are retarded.
Edit: Only place I know to buy paint online is paintscratch.com, but I use that for buying OEM paints in a spray can. I dunno how the quality is on their paint since I've only used it on small parts and wheels.

Have your car painted somewhere else because obviously that shop is run by a bunch of idiots. NH-0 is the paint code, don't let anyone tell you anything else.

I have a very trustworthy painter....top notch guy.....
When I have had him paint parts/cars for me, he requires the paint code and the vin#.....
He says that he can get a better match of the paint because the vin# provides him w/ more info about which factory the car was painted in and who the original manufacturer of the paint is/was....
maybe he is just blowing smoke, but every time he has painted anything for me it matches PERFECT.....

well it doesn't need to be matched as I'm painting a hatchback civic this color. Just as long as it gets the championship white =] I still wish someone around Birmingham I knew
cmdr430 you only need vin# if you are trying to colour match trying to get the closest match in a premixed form. if your shop has a paint system then they can colour match it even better aslong as they got a good painter.

What program are they using? Only our newest Generation Catalog could even pull color code through VIN and that's only been out for a couple months.

Yeah, Milano Red and Milano Pink. Same code, different colors.

thre are variances and tints to the base, thats why you need the VIN because there are 3 different plants that Honda paints in. Usually the plant is located on a sticker in the door jamb.

That is correct, but its funny how all these people say they order from paintscratch.com and also say there's only one color code

The factory code is located in the lower right hand corner of your color tag. (The color tag is usually located on the drivers door jamb, but if you don't see it, take a look on the passenger side door jamb.) For example, the color below would be listed on our site as B-89P. When you select factory code A from the drop down list of factory codes on our site, the color code becomes B-89-A which is not the same color as B-89. For accurate colors, please enter this letter or number! If you do not see a factory code on your color tag, please use the 11th digit of your VIN.
Many Honda and Acura vehicles will not have a factory code. Again, enter the 11th digit of your VIN so we can properly formulate your paint. If you have a factory code and it does not match the 11th digit of your VIN, use the factory code on your color tag.
Please note!
On some color tags the factory designation is part of the color code. For example, if your paint code reads B-89P-3, then the -3 is your factory code and MUST be entered in the factory code box on the order form.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have to disagree with paintscratch.com
First off, to the best of my knowledge EVERY 94-01 INTEGRA was made in SUZUKA! Even in the Helms manual it only states "S" as the only factory available when decoding the VIN on any Integra. Everyone can run out to their cars and see what the 11th DIGIT is. It should be an "S" which stands for SUZUKA. Which makes perfect sense because why would they have two separate factories building one car. It would not be cost effective to have two plants building the same platform.
The 11th digit signifies the FACTORY CODE, well since there is only one factory producing Integra's this totally contradicts paintscratch's "theory."
With that being said, there shouldn't be any variations since they all are made at the same factory.
The color CODE IS the color CODE.
We have a body shop that paints all day. When they enter a code, it knows what to mix to get the proper color. Now if they decide to match the paint due to factors such as weathering and age, they will start with the code and modify from there to their liking.
When I order touch up paint from the factory they do not ask for a VIN. They ask for the part number which includes the COLOR CODE in it and I don't stock different variations of a color code. I have an NH-0 bottle and that's it.
I have been wrong before, so please enlighten me.
