VTM Signal for VAFCII Removal
I'm going to remove my VAFCII and I just want to verify that the Type-R does not use the VTM signal with the VAFC (the car came with it installed). The manual shows the pinouts for:
- Vtec solenoid signal
- Rpm
- Ground
- IG Power
- Throttle Signal
- Pressure Signal
I just want to be sure that when I remove this unit I have everything back to stock.
Thanks!

Re: VTM Signal for VAFCII Removal (digitalVinyl)
Cant you just trace the wires?
My car throws a VTEC"h" code every once an awhile and I've been told is becasue the VTM is not hooked up....

Well I haven't taken a really good look at the wiring done by the previous owner, but with the VTM signal it's not a splice and it's not a loop, the diagram requires the VTM signal to be cut, and then the portion that goes to the ECU is connected to the VAFC.
This leaves the original wire that was going to the ECU just hanging around and I don't know if I need to go looking for this wire or not (I believe it's a Blue/Black wire if I indeed have one)
