IGNITER PROBLEMS??
I have a 96 spec jdm type R motor. After completing the swap and installing the digital ignition (crane cam) the car ran really good then all of a sudden the car is running reallt bad. The tach is dancing around and the car is sputtering off and on?? Any suggestions on this?? My friend told me it could be a fried igniter. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

the ignitor is a easy fix, however it is not cheap. I believe the ignitor itself is around 150usd from LEN.
Replacing the ignitor is really easy if you take out the distrubutor from the motor. once the distrubutor is out, you'll need to remove the cap and rotor to gain access to the ignitor. The ignitor is held in by 2 bolts on the outside of the distrubutor, just unscrew those and remove the female connectors (I believe there is 4 connecters) then the ignitor slides right out with ease
