Default HID's

So my understanding is that 4300k is the brightest and whitest light...aka the least ricey. But we cannot just buy already built and ready to go HID's from any company? We have to take our stock head lamps and convert them with other parts? Is this correct?

If not is there a company I can just buy some HID's from and put in my car like this week? Im sick of not being able to see at night without high beams.. almost hit a deer the other night.

BTW, I found this site on making HID's http://www.skafia.com/itr/hid/

yea but I don't think I really want them. I wanna get 4300k HID's. I believe you can get them for the 9005 and 9006 which is the hi and low beams. Most people just do their low beams, but I may do both.

Listen to Jon. I have been there done that with plug and play kits. They are not worth it IMO. Someday I want a custolightz setup of my own.

Yea theres Xenondepot, Xenith Xenons, and the Kaixen Xenons to look at. I will check out custom tho.

I would like to go with Kaixen, but they do not offer the 4300k which is the brightest.

PM sent

I been thinking about doing a retrofit for more than a year now. I actually started last year. I bought a dremel, s2000 projectors, and some spare headlamps. It went quite smoothly, until the dremel died while I was cutting the headlight brackets. I then got sidetracked and am still not finished a year later. Some day...some day.

Your search for retrofit HID returned 244 results.

Your search for HID returned 868 results.

And by the way, I'm not talking trash...I'm just stating facts.

You keep creating new threads about topics that have already been EXHAUSTED in this forum. Some people might be nice enough (or bored enough) to take the time to give you answers instead of letting you look for them yourself.

I searched in the ITR forum. As for the results, there were no clear cut ways that was best for how to go about getting HID's or what company to go with. I had never even heard about retrofit until Jon helped me out.
