Today, I was driving home from work at around 3000-4000 rpm, the R would begin to bog. I'm thinking maybe it could be a fuel problem because I've been smelling a lot of gas. Any suggestions?

you might be running too rich, check plugs also, then go from there

u checked your ignition wires? Anything one loose on the distributor cap or spark plug side?
