help
yeah, selling the R. I've been sitting on the fence for a few months.... It's been fun, but part of me thinks it's time to move on.... I figure there are others here who feel this way or have in the past.
I don't know about selling it, but when I'm ready to move on I will just buy another car. I have been through 12 cars already, to include other hondas and I tried out the moving up in class to a brand new Mercedes. But in the end I love the way my ITR is and the way it handles stock. I think in the summer or fall I may add a vette to my collection. I would say keep the ITR and buy something else that you may think about upgrading to if you can afford it, give it sometime and make sure selling the R is the way you really want to go. If while you have the new vehicle and still don't want the R, then sell it.

2000, 46K miles. No dents or dings, but has a couple of tiny paint chips on the hood. Light autocross (one full season) and about 10 track events. VERY well maintained and adult driven on the street (I'm 52 years old and don't care to get speeding tickets). I'm the third owner. The first owner was in his 60s, the second owner is a 30-something lawyer with three kids (kid #3 is why he sold it to me). I bought it with 31K miles.
Mostly stock with the exception of DA Konis, Kirk competition roll bar (bolt in) with a Sparco 6-point harness, and a Comptech axel back exhaust (came with the car and I have the stock muffler which is like brand new). It's D-Stock legal. I haven't even thought about price. I'd also be willing to return it to pure stock.
PM me if interested and be patient for a reply.

I feel the same way. I love the car to death but the situation with the theives just kills it for me when I park it somewhere, So I basically only drive the car to be dRivng it (ie not actually going anywhere). Why did honda have to make such a great caR so easy to steal!!!
I have a love, and hate relationship with it.
Sometimes im in the mood for a fun drive, othertimes i want to get to point a - b in comfort.
Its my DD, I can't have 2 cars/insurance.. I work as an insurance broker and I go to work all dressed up in a suit, i sometimes feel kinda goofy stepping out in this car.. feel like a kid
ESP the fact that noone know WTF a TYPE R is anyway.. they think its just a yellow integra worth $4000
Right NOW.. i feel like burning it to the ground and collecing insurance money (joking) so i can get a 2000 Lexus GS400 or 00 BMW 540I or something like that...I don't think I should even bother TRYING to sell it now in the winter time. (Mint 00 PY ITR w/40k miles).. I could finance a new G35 coupe, or a used e46 M3.. but I rather have a car paid off, rather then paying monthly.. rather put it towards saving and investments.
