what kind of header do you guys use and what would you recommend for me to buy

I always like posts like this, im always interested to see if the creator responds. In most cases they run and hide

well im sorry ill try the search next time i just wanted to know what kind of HEADER you guys use also im new to honda-tech.com. is this what you guys do look for a noobs post and bash it? more power to you guys

I'm with this guy, the APC ones make the most power even better than the JDM bling mugen one.

sorry bro... we really dont mean to come off as ********. Just think of a good group of friends you hang out with, and something you talk of frequently that you know like the back of your hand. Then "John Doe" comes walking over to you and your group of friends and starts asking you questions that are so redundantly talked about amongst your group of friends it makes you want to hurt someone. He's got a point though, that question has been asked so many times I can't even count. If you want real, dyno proven info....look in the FAQ at the great header test performed by titan motorsports. That should give you some insite....

Edit: I'll be running the SMSP very shortly, well after I get some $$$ saved up

ok here again is another issue "WE" have a huge problem with. We hate those who dont do their own research on what type of mods to buy. If "John Doe" came over to you group of friends and started asking you guys what the best mods are and what he should buy... wouldn't you be a little annoyed also?

What you still aren't grasping is that we admire those who do their own reasearch and choose their mods based on what it is they want to use their car for? Sooooo with that being said, tell us more about what it is you will be using your car for.

SMSP seems to be the crowd favorite along with Hytech I believe. Start by searching those names a you'll find a wad of information.

At the low end of the scale, the JDM OEM 4-1 header or the old DC Sports <u>JDM</u> 4-1 header are hard to beat. They provide solid gains at a modest price, although you'll want a whole JDM-length exhaust, probably 2.5" and with a freeflow cat, to get the most out of them.

At the high end of the scale, SMSP and Hytech appear to continue to be the favourites, and there is no doubt that the more expensive headers provide considerably greater gains, although not the same jump-for-the-money that the cheaper headers do.

Yes, that is exactly what people do.

If you could give us an idea of how much you want to spend and what you intend to do with the car, that would be helpful.

It would be a good idea to lock the thread until you've searched and can provide a little more information about your budget and purposes.
