will the DC 4-1 bolt up to a Y2kTypeR stock cat???or will there have to be mods done???

The DC 4-1 with the smaller collector will bolt to the 2000 USDM ITR cat. DC also makes a header with a larger (JDM) collector that will NOT bolt directly to the USDM ITR cat, and will require some modification.

 

What mods do you have to do with the JDM Collector?

 

A new 2-1/2" cat can be built to bolt right in but you'll have a mismatch in the tubing diameters at your stock B pipe.

Moderators, Can't you guys set up a section for installation instructions for different mods on different vehicles? Some examples would be.

Bolt in headers

Custom/JDM headers

Cats

Cat Back Exhausts

Struts/Springs

Sway Bars

Brake Upgrades

Suspension Upgrades

Cam Install

Fuel Controller Installs

Etc, Etc, Etc

Maybe you could set up a moderator for each section and that person can update their own section when more info is made available bu other members. Just a thought.

Has anyone done an comparisons (dyno, butt dyno, track) to see how the DC JDM 4-1 matches up to the stock JDM 4-1 ITR header?

if it's the USDM DC then yes it will bolt up

 

will a ITR header and cat bolt up to a GReddy EVO catback for a LS??
