I think the dumbasses should'nt have welded them on the inside of the ports which is a flaw of the stockers. However given a few miles the bling will fade to goldish and they will be less stunnarific and you save a few bux

Would be the right way to link it, and how bad can it be if its a direct copy, I bought a Honda JDM 4-1...

It may be a "copy" (and I'll still never understand the decision to copy the OEM 4-1), but some of the photographs I've seen of the inside of the collector are positively horrible. I don't recall seeing a photo of the collector of the OEM Honda piece, but I'd assume it's quite a bit cleaner than this copy. I'd be a bit concerned about the overall build quality as well.

Either way, in this general price range I'd still stick with the DC JDM 4-1, even though the ground clearance might be a bit worse. IMO, the larger primaries, lack of inner flange welds, and superior collector on the DC piece are compelling selling points.

I run that header. The SS version. It's OK. Was not impressed with the welds but, hey, i picked it up pretty cheap. Hopefully it will tide me over until I get the Toda.
