I have come to the conclusion that my car is running pretty slow. I went up against my friends stock GSR, and he hung with me the whole time (my driving isnt that bad) Ive also gone up against a few other cars that I really should be spanking, and such hasnt been the case. Im thinking about getting one of those Gtech gadgets to get a rough estimate of what my car is doing. I did a search on the above topic, and most people are saying they are reasonably accurate. My question is: It appears it requires no other installation other than being competant enough to know how to plug it into the cig lighter (which is good for me since Im not mechanically inclined at all) Would I be right in the assumption that it is completely idiot proof? Also, anyone with any comments (negative or positive) on the Gtech would be appreciated.
I don't own one, but my friend does. Any way, from what I understand, you have to enter vehicle weight and a couple of other bits of information to set it up. He has run 1/4 miles with it and on the track and come up with comparable numbers.

For quarter mile measurements you just level it on your windshield and go. You only need to input vehicle weight if you want horsepower etc.. It's very easy to use and produces repeatable results.

Anyone from the Toronto area (or otherwise) know if these can be bought in Toronto, or do I need to hit up the website and have it shipped?
