anything higher than 93 will not do anything for most people.
only those that run high compression or some sort of power adder
will see gains.

Sunoco Ultimate 94 is readily available in Pittsburgh and the DC area, so that's what i use. not that expensive most places (compared to 93)

For my R and my bike, I only use Amoco Ultimate...93 Octane and very clean burning gas

Gotta love the "h20 look" of the Ultimate!

Amoco. I don't notice any difference between brands in the ITR, but in my mustang I swear its faster with amoco. 100% psychological I'm sure.

I know that the only reason to run high octane is to stop detonation in high compression engines, and that people with low compression cars that run high octane are fools to media hype... but the ITR has a mechanism that retards the timing if lower octane is used right? So is it possible that its retarded a little even when using 93 octane, and if so it should actually make more horse power with gas rated above 93 octane??? Just speculation... has anyone dynoed their ITR with higher octane gas.

Yeah i was wondering if anyone had dynoed their car running higher octane gas than what comes at the pump. Include mods if you have them as well please.

In a small town outside of Clemson University there is a gas station that has 114 octane gas "PUMP". AIR PLANE! I friend of mine was going to use it in his car..........I wouldn't touch the stuff.

Kind of OT: But thought it was funny
