yup. finally happened. i am not sure why, but i didn't get a ticket. he claimed 80 mph in a 55 [i didn't even know it was a 55 stretch of the fwy (normally 65)].

CHP. very nice young man. i was very simple and direct. don't think he had me on radar, and i think the 80 was an estimate. couldn't swear to it, but i think it was a pretty decent estimate as well. bright yellow car with some stickers that say "R" or something and some silly looking black hood.

i do indeed feel very lucky. i think he might have been busy, because although it didn't seem that way until i gave him my license, reg, and insurance, two seconds after, he said he was going to give me a warning. my stupid driver's license has me in blonde hair, too...so i look like a punk kid. huhu.

i got my first ever moving violation a few months back. automatic camera red light ticket thingie in the middle of the night. blah.

actually, i have another theory. i had just played basketball, and smelled like a mother. towel on the seat. windows down. bjork in the cd player. perhaps he can't stand bjork or the stench of tall 455 honkay.

First time ever?!?! How did you manage that. I've been pulled over (and ticketed most of the time) in every vehicle I've owned. In fact my strangest story is the time the cop let me go after running the check on my license. I was so sure I was getting a ticket when he walks back to the window and says: "Your driving record is HORRIBLE! Get the hell outta here." Needless to say I drove away quickly.

i don't know man. i think i've been pulled over two other times previous. once for not wearing my seatbelt (and i'm a staunch seatbelt wearer because of my parental influence...i remember being embarrassed at times when my parents would give friends rides home because they wouldn't start the car until everybody had their belts on...huhu...so anyway, it was a brainfart), and once in my girlfriend's car for not having a front plate. i can say with fair certainty that i'm driving above the speed limit more so since i got this car than in the past, but we'll see if that changes. obviously, a ticket woulda sucked pretty hard (how hard? pretty hard),...so maybe i'll take something away from this. hope so. not like i'm racing people all over the place or anything,...thank goodness...

I got pulled over yesterday night, downtown Vancouver.

Apparently, even though the cop thought it was impressive, 2 block long power wheelies are illegal.

Who would've guessed...

 

LOL Yeah that wouldn't be reccomended Glad you didn't get a ticket, I know when I drive my ITR it seems to pull cops out of the woodwork because for the past 7 months were I haven't been driving it I haven't been pulled over once. I have gotten compliments from police when driving the Chevelle though
