My friend JDM97R is doing a rebuild on his ITR, with Skunk 2 stage 2's, spoon pistons etc....


We found a very good priced Field's Vtec Controller.

Do you think that if we use his curent Spoon Sports ECU with a Field's Vtec and fuel controller would be a good start for tuning please?

i'd go with a VAFC, but thats up to you. Depending on application and pricing, fields may be way to go.

WiredSpeed Lab is having a sale on Hondata systems. Very good prices, but i don't know what your budget is. I would say go with Hondata for the price they have them at.

 

if the price is right go for it, but nothing compares to a stand alone unit (hondata, aem ems, power fc, etc.)

 

hondata is not a standalone!!

I believe a fields only lets you alter the vtec point doesnt it?? I may be totally wrong since i dont know the last thing about the fields unit...but i dont thing it lets you play w/ the air/fuel mixture..( i may be confusing this w/ another unit)

Look in the FS ads..there are always VAFCs going for like 150ish...
