Default engine died

Hey guys! I've been to Buttonwillow today and my engine died. I was on the track flooring it and all of a sudden I lost power and huge cloud of white smoke came from the exaust. Whatever was spilled evaporated right away. I suspect it was water. What could it be? Blown gasket?
