Electrical problems and fixing matters
While installing my pedals awhile back, i (in the most pathetically stupid manner) flipped the little wrench thing into the right side, where it somehow fell down here:
Happened quite fast but i think there may have been slight openings just above the plastic area in the picture. I was very unlucky (not to mention stupid) to have lost it down there.
I tried to open out and reach my hand down to find it as best i could without having to pull apart anything.
I had no luck and eventually i just gave up.
Eventually, i noticed the front right speaker of the car no longer worked. The other 3 still did.
When i took her into it's 5000km service i explained that my front right speaker wasn't working anymore... i did not tell them about the wrench.
They tried replacing it but that didn't help. They said they had "earthing" problems there and required an electrician to have a look at it.
By then when i came home i realised i must have really stuffed this thing up myself.
Not caring too much about my speakers (i'm just not into music) i decided to delay the matter for another day.
Acouple of months later, i just noticed today that the electric mirrors no longer worked. I assumed the problem is also related to the wrench.
My car is RHD, therefore the wrench fell in the right (not in the right door but to the right of where the drivers foot is). The speakers and the mirror control panel thats not working are both situated on the right drivers door.
The power *edit* windows */edit* work fine. I haven't noticed any other problems.
Thats all i know. If anyone could help, including servicing advice i'd be grateful. I'm not sure whats the best way to approach the dealership about this. It's not just the electrical techy advice i'm after, but also on how to handle the situation with Honda.

Why not just remove the panel and locate the allen key? At least you will eliminate to possibility that it is the source of your problems.
I have taken mine off before to install my alarm system. There is nothing in there that could be harmed and it is easily taken off and the allen key can be removed. There is no possible way that the allenkey can cause the speakers to not work, the wiring is not in the same proximity. Just remove the plastic "snap" and then pull up on the panel and it will come right off.
BTW, does the right tweeter work in the door?
