Default Easy question??

Ok, Auto link motorworks in temple city put a b18c1 in my civic, Now, everything is good with the swap but here is my question. I went to change the cap & rotor, and when I took off the stock cap, I noticed writing on the distributor that said p73, Isn't that a type R distributor?? And my parts that I purchased for my ignition like the wires, plugs, and rotor are still going to work, even though the are for a gsr?Because the gsr cap that I purchased is too small, so I am pretty sure that it isn't even worth trying to put it on. So all i have to do is get a type R distributor cap right??

Cap/rotor/wires should all be interchangeable.

And how do you know the cap you bought is too small, yet you haven't tried putting it on yet?

The cap fits on my brothers b16, So if they are all interchangable, then why wouldnt it fit on my b18c1. Would a type r distributor require a different cap??

Make sure you buy a honda cap, cause aftermarket ones tend to not fit well, or be pos's... I've seen a number of aftermarket caps go bad, or just not fit well. This even goes for quality aftermarket caps...
