Default Do it yourself?

I posted about a week ago about my emblems being jacked. I plan on molding in the holes and repainting the areas. Is it a good idea to attempt to do this at home if a famliy member has all the necessary equipment and experience? Is it possible to obtain the NBP paint to match the car?

might as well try if you think it will come out good so you can save some money but if it looks like *** take it and get it fixed...if he has a paint mixed you should be able to get the right color

Plan on painting the entire hatch/front bumper. Also, the only proper way to fill the holes in the hatch is to weld them up. Fillers ,regardless of type, will eventually shrink/crack. The hatch sees a lot of vibration (being closed). Painting parts in a non-paint booth enviroment is do-able, but it is very difficult to keep dust etc out of the wet paint.
