Custom Camera Mount
I would like to put a camera in to record my track driving until I can find a shop to install the rollbar. Has anyone attempted custom setups, perhaps using the headrests as some sort of horizontal support? Ideas/tips would be appreciated.
*cough* search *cough*
but anyway, I'm not one to be preachy, so here's someone's plans which I've used:

(mine is currently in-use by xjohnx)
I've also custom made a carbon fiber one to wrap around the rear parcel shelf that I mounted the IO Port mount to, but being further back decreases your field of view...

I just made one on Saturday Night to take to the track on Sunday. Needless to say, It's a prototype. After using it I have some changes planned.
Basically I used the Seat-Belt mounts (like the J's racing ones). Just made the Brackets out of Aircraft Aluminium. But the rail was just normal aluminium, it shook alittle too much. So I'll change it out for a stiffer pipe, and abit more work on the down supports to the lower seatbelt mount. That should do it.
Took about 4-5 hours to make including the Nylon bracket for the camera to mount on.
Later.
