Default CTR Piston Questions

Hi, would you need to change fuel injectors if you get CTR Pistons and put them into an ITR engine? Also, would you need to get your ECU Reprogrammed to handle the increased compression?

Thanks,
KJ

You don't need to but it would be smart CTR's in a ITR motor will yield high compression numbers and knock with follow unless you have the proper fuel delievery.

Yes, I'm using stock cams.

Do I need injectors? Or can I just increase fuel pressure and lean out the mixture where I have to with the V-AFC?

The reason for getting the fuel pressure regulator is because the V-AFC can't really add fuel, so you use the fuel pressure regulator to make it RICH EVERYWHERE on the powerband and then use the V-AFC to lean it out where you need to.

No, I'm planning to sell my car so I'm only doing the pistons because I need new ones anyway.
