Default CTR/ITR gearbox conversion

I have a friend who owns a 2000 Civic Type R. He is doing a final drive conversion from the 98 JDM Integra Type R (4.785). He has already bought the drive but now realizes that the input shaft bearing is not a direct match.

I too was under the impression that the internals for both egearboxes were, for the most part, interchangeable.

1. Any suggestions?
2. Where can this bearing be had in the US. He would not like to have to order it from Japan.
3. Does anyone know the part # or any other info that may help?

I had a 98 JDM ITR FD in my CTR S4C tranny. Fit like a glove. The FD kit that I got for it came with the right bearings. Sorry I don't have any more info for you since I got it back in 00'.
