I got 2 battey backup sirens installed today, and when I left, the engine light came on. Showed the guy at the shop, he told me to go to Acura and get it checked. Took it there, and they told me the guys installing the sirens shorted the computer and cut some wires. Estimated price to get it fixed - $2100. I gotta make them pay for it now! If they dont, what can I do?

 

as long as you have a receipt of the installation and it can be proved that they did the damage by cutting the wrong wires you should have no problems, well except that you may have to get a lawyer. Make sure you read their disclaimer if any about installations, hopefully they don't say your fu$%#d. Good luck.

Get a detailed description of the problem and how they came up with the cause from teh dealer to show them.
