Comptech Icebox. Small Problem.
Well, I recently got the Comptech Icebox and Arm for my car and installed it. But now I have a minor problem. I used to have an AEM CAI on my car so I don't have the stock hose that goes from the Valve Cover to the Stock Intake Arm. I think you'd know what I'm talkin about if you ever installed an intake in your car... which is 95% of you guys...
Anyways, on the Comptech Intake Arm, instead of a nipple, it has a rubber thingy that fits the stock tube. I think the stock tube has a metal peice that actually goes into the rubber thingy on the Comptech/Stock Intake Arm. But since I got my car used, that hose was removed. What do you think I can do to replace that hose? I guess I could just get one from the dealership, but they'd probably rape me on price. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
PS. Sorry for the stupid question.
PSS. I currently just have the hold plugged on the Intake and have a Breather attached to the Valve Cover.

with the AEM they have you run another rubber hose for the TB coolant lines.
If you want the stock one it's probably pretty cheap at the dealer. If not, http://www.car-part.com (by the time you have it shipped, probably not worth your time). In which case a local junkyard is next.
Of course after all this trouble you could probably rig something else up with a double ended brass hose barb from Home Depot and some fuel line hose.

You could also buy the Comptech polished pipe. Another solution would be to look for a used stock one in the classifieds (though people don't generally sell those).
