Default Coilover Weights

Does anybody know the weights of the popular performance/racing coilover setups? Zeals, Buddy club, Tein, Mugen...

Well, I can tell you that my Tein HA's were 4lbs heavier per shock/spring then my AGX with Ground Controls. I forgot the exact weight though.

My Zeal Function S (for EK) weighed under 6lbs each if I remember correctly.

I would guess about 50 pounds as well. None of the lower end performance suspensions use lightweight materials.

So coilovers would be considered unsprung weight?

i dissagree with them being unsprung weight. Some of the weight is supported by the bolts at the top, making it sprung....

Depends on the coilover design. Inverted shocks means less unsprung weight. OPM sells custom inverted setups.

What's the deal on getting some replacement (14K or so) springs for the Buddy Clubs?
Dave @ R&D has had mine "on order" since March or so, and I can't wait much longer before I put the BC's on the car. TIA

If that is per corner. Getting a 6-8 lb setup would greatly reduce the weight of the car

Is someone going to confirm this?
My Bilstien/hypercoil setup can't weigh more than 12 lbs a corner.

Exactly. It is 50 lbs for all 4 shocks/springs/upper mounts.
