Default Chrome Stripping

Does anybody know of a chemical or a quick way to strip chrome plating off wheels? I recently acquired a nice set of Kosei's for my beater Integra, but the chrome has got to go. Spent nearly an hour with a wire brush, but it only took the chrome off and there is still a copper coating underneath that is not budging. If anyone knows of a chemical that will essentially strip the chrome plating, please help.

If you want it done really well, just take it to a body shop and have it sand blasted. Ask them to stuff it in there with other crap so that it doesn't cost you much.
