Check Engine Light?
I unplugged the VAFC at the connector for security reason while parking outside. After I reconnect the VAFC and start the car, the check engine light came on. What I did was turn off the car, reconnect the VAFC, and disconnect the battery for a second or so. When I turn the igntion, the check engine light is gone. Is this check engine light something I need to worry about? was is just a bad connection?...I'm just paranoid since this is my first check engine light. Thanks guys
check engine light alot of times dosent mean ****, well it does mean something but it can be pointless like mine was, my fieldsm vtec controller used to make mine come on and it was ****** with the map sensor which i didnt know so i had a diagnostic run for 40 bucks and found out it was my v-tec controller
my car did the same thing. i checked the codes and it was the map sensor and the vtec presssure switch. the light comes on b/c the car is reading the ecu settings and not the ones you put into the vafc. plug it back in and reset the ecu.
