bleeding the clutch???

Default bleeding the clutch???

after i have the hose attached to the bleeder screw and the end of the hose submerged in the brake fluid, am i supposed to loosen the bleeder screw before i press the clutch down??

Yes you have to loosen the screw before pressing the clutch. Make sure the clutch reservoir doesn't go empty or you will get air in your line. It's a 2 person job if you ask me....one person pours brake fluid to ensure it doesn't empty and another pumps clutch and tighten/loosen bleed screw.

another problem i am having is that my slave cylinder wont fit all the way into the release fork boot??

If you can't find a friend to help, you can place your bleeder bag on the ground you don't need a friend to work the clutch. Gravity bleeds the clutch just fine, and you can focus your attention on the cmc to make sure it doesn't drain all the way.

I have them press the clutch first then I release the screw for a second, then I retighten it and after that I tell them to release the clutch. Anything wrong with this method?
