Alright, here's a kinda messed up idea. Could someone care to comment based on their experience? Anyway here goes...
Tire setup choices... which one would work the best for autoX in your opinion:
1. 195/55/15 Stock RE010 on all 4 corners on OEM wheels
2. 205/50/15 Kumho 712's on all 4 corners on Millenia wheels
3. 195/50/15 P-zero in the front 2 corners on Millenia wheels + 2 RE010 in the back
4. 195/50/15 P-zero in the front 2 corners on Millenia wheels + 2 712's in the back
I would think that #4 would give me better gearing ratio w/ good front tire grip + "slippery" rear-end. What do you think? I just don't have time to try out all the combo... I would like to hear some of you, autoX jocks, on this messed up idea of mine. Thanks.

of the choices given I would take the RE010 on stock wheels.
Assuming by these street tires is a requirement I would run RE730's (205/50/15) on a millenium wheel if I could. Bt Kumho V700's are better if you are going to have a dedicated set of race wheels

Why is there no choice for the RE-10s on the mazda wheels, if you have all of these parts? That would be my choice out of the bunch.
As for options 3 and 4, I would stay away. I understand your desire to modulate the car's balance with stick up front and slick(er) in the back, but there is something to be said for running the same tire on all 4 corners (not necessarily the same sizetire, but the same type). Differences in sidewall stiffness, rubber compound, responses to temp. changes, etc. make your 2x2 plan unpredictable. If you want more grip in the front than the rear, run a 225/205 F/R combo of the same tire.
And, if street tires aren't a requirement, I'm with Carlex...V700s!

Thanks guys. I guess I'm sticking with RE010's on all 4 corners. (Also suggested by Pyromaster and Black R.)
As for no RE010's on millenias... too lazy to swap the tires from OEM wheels to millenias.

So it sounds like you have a set of mazda wheels laying around begging for some action while the OEM wheels/tires have all the fun? How about a set of race tires for the extra wheels to solve all of your problems?
