Default Alignment Question

i have 17in wheels on my car and i haven't had my car aligned. the car just started eating up tires 5 months after running in the ditch. I didn't get it aligned now its gettin worse. Will a 4 wheel alignment help this because i like nder the front fender where the side and firewall come together. The plastic piece under there is sligntly gone and i can see some thin metal here is a pic of my tires the rear one. Note i ran in the ditch on the right side.

woah crap, are those the metal cords in your tire? that's pretty bad. i remember seeing tires after the track, and i didnt see any metal cords showing. i think you need new tires, asap. alignment would definetely help.
