Default After a decade... finally...

After 10 years of being on h-t, I can finally post in the Type-R section... I picked it up from the auction today for $800 before fees (too much?) . I'll post pics as the rebuild progresses. Plans include jdm front end and low boost... I originally planned on painting it is250 green (i hate yellow cars), but that py is growing on me.

You wouldn't know what the hell to do with that car if you had it. YOU buy an RS and make it look like an ITR, this car is in good hands now.

Deffinitly keep it PY.

I have a 98 ls parts car at the shop with doors, mirrors, carpet etc. so all I really need are the big things... front end, suspension/rims, motor, blah.

Nah... It came from a local onsite only salvage auction... I wouldn't be surprised to see an R shell go for $1500+ at copart.

Good price for a real R. As a Py owner, paint it. Just make sure they don't leave any of the old yellow behind.

I have to paint it myself, which is why it's 99% likely to stay yellow. I don't look forward to stripping and painting engine bays or trunk jams (even with the thieves taking care of the majority of work)
