WS2 VS SP2
i was trying to search for this same exact topic a few days back while i was about to buy an exhaust, but i bought the wp2 and have had it on the car for about 5 days, its great. When you first install it, it sounds stock, you cant even hear it at all, but let it break in and it gets a little louder but still quiet.

sp2 exhaust has kinda a low sound and it attracts alot of attention.. i dunno how the ws2 exhaust sounds like.. but i'd go for the ws2 by the looks of other people
well i was gonna order from wiredspeed.com for $375 shipped but i had to go through a whole buyer complaint on paypal to get a refund becuz they were out of stock and they wouldnt answer my emails. Then i just went to ebay and got it for $395 so only $20 difference. You could also go to turboimport.com They say they have an overstock now.
not from personal experiences but heard it from others who own them.
The SP2 tend to rust out/ or doesnt last very long. Other then that i dont know much about the SP2. The WS2 is good, looks stock-ish and sounds deep, i think theres a audio clip over at team-integra. Another exhaust i think you should look into is the Rs*R Exmag, its pretty much compareable with the WS2, only i think its a bit more pricey.
hope that helps

I've had my sp2 for a year or two, and it hasn't rusted out at all. I think it's a great exhaust. Definitely has that low, deep sound that ohsnapzafingcu said, but it's not loud at all, only at wot. Not sure how the ws2 is like though, but I hear it's good and sounds stock-like.

straight through DOES NOT mean more horse. it just means less sound is blocked so its louder not faster

In most cases, a straight-through won't have much of an advantage over a chambered muffler especially with the mild mods most people run. But to extract the most power from a setup, you're going to go with the straight-through design...in which case, a straight-through DOES mean more horses.
A chambered muffler doesn't just block sound, but flow as well.
Back on topic: WS2. I've heard many horror stories with GReddy mufflers having their wool packing rust out. I was happy with my WS when I had it.

The rust out problems was with the Greddy SP1's, I have not heard any problems with the SP2's. I would think Greddy would have fixed that with the newer design. Also, as far as looks, Both of them look nearly identical. If you want a little more tone go with the sp2.
Either way, i dont think you will be disapointed with either choice.
Ive had my SP1 for over 5 years with no problems, I love it.
