This after noon I did the 9005 head light conversion. I love it copaired to how it used to be!!!

Anyway, I want to upgrade the wiring going to the head lights, and make it so the lights run right off of the battery. I already have some relays lying around from my stereo days, and I sure I have the right wire as well. So how do I hook it all up? Will this make my headlights any brighter, or is it just a waist of my time?

 

The battery supplies 12.6v the alternator supplies 14.4v

also the alternator supplies more currunt. Unless you are race only, its not worth it IMO.

 

The headlights are already hooked up thru the battery directly. The relay for them is so the amperage they use does not go thru the switch in your car. It is the best you can do, unless you use 100W bulbs, then you would need bigger wires to carry the higher current draw.

 

Ahhh. Alright, I guess I'll stick with the stock wiring. Anyway, it was way worth the 5 minutes it took me to adapt the 9005's!
