Windshield replacment question
hello, I have a cracked windshield on my 95 teg and am wanting to get it replaced. question is, when the guy takes out the windshield, am I going to have tp replace the clips and hardware that hold the moldings in, or do they hold up to being taken off and then put back on. also, should I go with oem moldings and clips or are aftermarket ones up to the task. TIA
be sure to take off your own mouldings and clips, make sure none of them are broken... you can also take off your own cowl and clips there too...
really though, you don't have to replace anything..... most reputable repair places or persons are good at making it look oem.
just whatever you do, don't get the window with the blue tint across the top.. lol.. the guy tried to sell that to me last time saying it was the hottest thing going right now.
