Would the 3M double sided tape be strong enough to hold jdm window visors, even if i run 70mph on the freeway ? the reason why im askin coz i got the visors but i dont have most of the clips, screws, and instruction to install it to hold it .. please let me know and all help will be appreciate.. thanks

This how much thick/space where i can stick the double sided tape on. its about 1/4 inch.

hmm.. I know my dad put 3m double sided tape on the window visors on his toyota tundra... It holds it just as well as the clips did, if not better... I dunno how much different the visors are though, but i think they should work just fine.

thats wut i heard from my friend too, from his dad tercel and it has window visors bought from the dealer and its just has double sided tape no screws or clips..

my dad's used to have clips, but they fell off or something, so he took it completely off and changed it to 3m tape, It seems to stick and hold a lot better, theres no movement or play in it anymore so it doesnt hit his door and mess up his paintjob anymore.

Almost all the window visors i have been thru are double sided 3M tape. I dont see why you should worry about the visor coming off, but the main part is that you have to clean where you are sticking your visor to maximize its adhesive.

 

IMO 3m tape doesnt belong on a car Just my opinion to find other screws or something. my .02
