anyone know how to clean gunk and oxidation off black window molding. ive tried mothers back to black stuff, no help. can you buy new molding anywhere?

 

Unless you want to buy a whole new molding for it all you can do it sand it down and paint it. I have done it on three tegs and my friends have done it to theirs also. Use Satin finish black paint from home depo and it looks just like stock.

 

did you just use a really fine sand paper? can you wash it like normal witout fade or wear?
