will the clutch work?
Alright, first thing is that i tried search a few times but my old wore out computer keeps freezing up everytime i try.
Now what i got is a 95' b18b1 and i want to put a b16 tranny on it. So when i go to get a clutch do i get it for a b18 or b16?
Thanks!

if your talking about a stock clutch from a 2000 civic Si ...its crap
all B series hydro tranny clutches are the same size
but some reason from my expericence the clutch that came on the Si always craps out
good move on going to the s4 tranny...but keep your clutch or go for an aftermarket one

Agreed, The clutch will work, but while everything's out, your best bet is to go ahead and upgrade.

are you planning to buy an oem or aftermarket clutch? if you are going oem i'd go with an ITR clutch and pressure plate since i had it on my B18B and was quite happy with the ability to bark 3rd.
if going aftermarket I don't think it matters, honestly... i haven't compared part numbers but when i ordered my exedy twin-disk i just told them that i needed a twin disk for a b series trans and i got it....
if you haven't chosen a place to buy one yet i'd suggest coximport.com
they're actually pretty local to me which is one reason why i like them but they are just a small-town locally owned and operated store that has some pretty nice deals most of the time. they keep most items in stock as well... kinda nice.
