Alrite guys im really worried..My babys F#$# up. Alrite heres the run down straight to the point.

1.At over 20mph my car shakes (shifter, steering wheel)
2.Lot of clicking noise from the passenger wheel (cv boot?)
3.The noise is with the speed, meaning if I go fast it clicks, shakes more and if I slow down the same.
4. Only things that shake alot are the wheel, and the shifter.

Car: 01 Gsr , been driving it ALOT lately.

The Cv boot was leaking about 3months ago and I never got around to fixing it.

Just need your help guys on an idea of whats wrong! thanks please help me without any flaming!

 

wanna try balancing you tires, maybe?

 

Change your axle and see what happens.

 

Your car might be shaking do to warped rotors, but i'm not sure about the clicking noise.

 

its ur cv... ima tell u somethin, fix it QUICK.. you should know how thoes work, and if that oil/lube comes off, and thoes joints rub on the cv... it could snap while ur driving.. and u dont wanna know the outcome of that.. make sure to check that first, and even if its not the problem, get it fixed

 

Yeah thanks for the responses, Im almost 90% sure its about to snap because it shakes badly and clicks badly. I remember about 3months ago I was told by Acura that it was leaking but I didnt have the option of keeping my car there due to work. But thanks if anyone else has any input please do help.

 

frist the clicking it the cv joint but the shaking mean that you need alignment then you shoud be cool

 

try getting under the car and moving the axle with your hand... does it get really bad when you turn under power? how is your axle bad with an 2001 if i might ask? lot of miles?

 

he could of tore the boot over the cv joint and ish could of gotten in there.. i mean it could be you can check it out, put greese on it again and buy a new boot and BOOM... or set.. or it could be worse, depends
