will a chip help?
i just got a 2001 gsr and im wondering what chips are good and are tey easy to install? i see them going on ebay for less then 20 dollars but im scared to buy id ratehr spend a little more on something i know is worth while!!!by the way heres a pic
OBDII (96-01 Integra) is quite difficult to chip. The memory and the processor are the same chip. Most people do an OBDI conversion with a P72 or P28 ECU. I'm one of the few that has a chipped OBDII ECU.
BTW: a generic chip is not going to improve a stock car. You need to tune an ECU for your engine configuration.
P.S. Nice car, but paint the grill black.

You have only done minor bolt-ons. ECU tuning could help a little. Once you do some internal engine work, ECU tuning will be much more beneficial. (Opinions will vary on this.)
I chose to get a Spoon Sports clone for my ECU because the VTEC crossover was in the proper location for my camshafts.
What is the purpose of the VTEC controller on your setup?

i agree you will likt the way it looks alot, but if you drive alot you will miss how it rides. even with a good suspension setup it will get old. if you are set on doing it i would just buy a full coilover set up when all you do i remove the whole damper( strut) that way it you get tired of it you can just put ur old **** back in. thats what i wish i would have done. althought my car does handle like its on rails.
p.s. disreguard everything i just said. sell me all your stock suspension when you buy the full coilover set-up

the VTEC controller wont give you much gain. Maybe sell that and get a APEX-I VAFC (this should allow you to adjust some fuel/air and VTEC points. Definately dont buy the EBAY chip. ITs a TOTAL SCAM and anyone who says different is a liar or just plain retarded
