why is this so?

I'm building a drag car and i dont think ill be doing any auto X so suspension is not a main concern. Im kinda on a budget, here's the question-->why are matrix coilovers so much cheaper than other brand names? do any of you guys advise against getting these? my friend told me that they will break? thanks.
If you're truely building a drag car, then suspension does matter, unless you're just going for the bragging rights of monster horsepower. Whats the point of having 400Hp if you can only effectively put down 70% of it cause of a poor suspention set up? Besides, suspension parts don't break as often, so it would be wise to use it effectively to lay down the 1/4 mile times you're looking for.
just get an american muscle car for draging. hehehe. maybe a 69 dodge charger r/t.....or buy a 69 camaro ss for cheap and fix it up.....my friend bought one from a guy for like 600 bux and put like 7k in it and it is beautiful!! you can also pimp that out next to our LS.

If you want all the power you can get from your car, you should do a fully adjustable shock. I would also look into urethane motor mounts. IF your suspension sucks, you won't get any traction......unless you just want to flash your dyno chart everywhere.
