where to learn how to pull engine?
i am decent at mechanic stuff, but im wondering where you can learn how to pull the engine?
never thought of doing this as ive owned pretty complicated cars like 300ZX before, but it seems on a honda its very easy. are there any special tools needed?

Best thing you could do is buy a helms manual, it will list all the tools needed and any special tricks. I've never pulled my engine but I pulled the whole tranny a while back, I don't have any special tools really, had to get a breaker bar though.
best advice I can give is to MARK EVERYTHING! use some tape put numbers letters , different colored stripes, whatever, and keep notes as to what means what and where it goes. Pretty simple, doesnt take much time to do and it'll make putting the new one in incredibly easier and faster
one of the most important things to kep track of are the fuel injector connections. I like to label them 1 2 3 4 going left right from the passenger side, that way when the motors in there's no confusion.
Invest in a paint pen, cheap and it makes your life a hell of alot easier

HaHa, very true. You are really best to label them all. Saves the time of thinking, oh yeah was this a 1.5 inch bolt or a 1 inch bolt etc...

also certain bolts may look the same but they are either a diferent grade bolt or are JUST a little bit longer or shorter. what I do is take a piece a cardboard and everytime I remove something I get a new piece and push all the bolts through the cardboard to hold them and kinda try to use the same pattern that they came out, that way every bolt for every part is together and pretty much in the right pattern they came out in, so theres no "**** this bolts too long, which one did I put in the wrong place" kinda stuff. Again doesnt take too long to do and it'll save ya hours if you screw up
I like the cardboard idea. When I removed my tranny I just wrote on masking tape and taped little labels to each bolt/screw. When I removed my interior I used little plastic bags labeled for each part and had the coresponding screws inside.
