MODERATORS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MOVE THIS TO THE "Appearance Build Threads" SECTION. THANKS

Hey, my name is Alex and I am a hondaholic. I have a CRX that has not been finished all the way and I just picked up a DC... just wanted to see if it belonged to anyone here, and I will keep you posted on the build.

Future plans involve an LS/VTEC, upgraded brakes, and upgraded suspension. I might go with a JDM front but have not decided yet..

I definitely will, I just picked this up today.

I have an LS/VTEC sitting around that need some work. I will be posting some info on the rebuild as the progress grows.

Here is one questions I cant answer: How do the OEM wrist pins come out of the rods/pistons? I have not searched a lot but maybe someone can point it out.

The piston pins must be pressed in\out with a hydraulic press, piston pin driver, and piston pin base

Just ordered something for the car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...h=011
Nothing too special but I like it.

I also picked up some S2K AP2 Seats. They are straight black leather. My friend had some leather door panels, so I jacked him ..

I will be modifying the rails to fit the DC chassis, I will take some pics. I checked it out and it should be fairly easy.

Some Pics

Now before the thread gets locked lets get technical

These are pics of ARIAS pistons. I dont know if you can see the number stamped on it but I cant seem to find any info on them. Im trying to find what compression they are and what size they are. I am assuming they are about 83mm. Can anyone find any info on them?

Also I dont know if you guys can see the lines on the piston skirts. Will that affect my engine in any negative way?

Where can I order the piston pin driver and base so I can remove the stock wrist pins on those?

I did! Good luck with the build, you seem to be on the right track, it's going to be a big job by the looks of it.

Im slowly working on it as well. I need a couple pieces welded on there. Im having some difficulty finding someone locally that can weld aluminum.

Those have a pretty big dome on them, I would imagine they're somewhere around 10.5 or 11 to 1. That looks like a bunch of fun building that thing back up. Good luck with everything

I have not updated for a while because I was away in Philadelphia, NYC and the surrounding areas out there... BTW I hate NY..

Anyway.. I decided against the new pistons and decided to stick to the old ones.. I think the issue I had with the last set up is that my rings were not gapped correctly. So I got new JE rings and a cometic head gasket.

As far as the interior goes, I have the black carpet in as well as S2k seats. I also got the leather rear seats. I have pictures of how I modified the rails to fit the DC chassis. I will post that when I get home.
