Wheel Question??
When I was taking off my wheel to install my CAI the wheel stud broke off. Now I know it is my fault for not putting on anti-seize and also my fault for over tightening the lugs but lets stick to the problem of replacing the broken stud. I know I can pick up the replacement stud for very cheap, but my question is, is it worth it to do the work myself or should I fork out the $50-100 and take it to a shop to fix it. I have never replaced a wheel stud before but I am fairly mechanically inclined. I have replaced my brake pads, starter, and have installed all the mods on my car. Is this something I can do myself? And does anyone have any directions? TIA.
Thanks for the help guys, it is greatly appreciated.
If I should take it to a shop, what type of shop should I take it to, like a Tire shop or something?
